Structural Analysis for Engineering Technology by Jack D. Bakos Jr. This text is intended for use in an elementary course in Structural Theory. In preparing the presentation the author has assumed that the reader is not familiar with the subject, ideally however; the reader should have had the first courses in engineering mechanics (Statics) and strength of materials. The elementary theory of structures is not a particularly difficult subject and thus requires only a limited amount of higher Mathematics. The only preparation needed is a knowledge of Arithmetic, Algebra and Trigonometry.
