Elements of Electricity By William H. Timbie

Elements of Electricty By William H. Timbie.   If we wish to cause  a current of electricity to flow from one point to another, we must raise the potential of the first point above that of the second.   Then a  pressure is set up proportional to the difference in potential.  This difference of potential tends to send a current from the high potential to the lower as in the case of water.
